hi.
when i try to run tapiir (with the alsa driver in unstable for a sb awe64
pnp) it quits just after opening its window with the following output:
!!!Scheduler set to Round Robin with priority 99 FAILED!!!
Make sure you are root, or that tapiir has the suid flag set
( chmod 4755 )
Playback device is hw:0,0
Capture device is hw:0,0
Parameters are 48000Hz, S16_LE, 2 channels, non-blocking mode
Wanted tick time: 1us, poll mode: yes
Rate doesn't match (requested 48000Hz, get 44100Hz)
Unable to set parameters for playback stream: Invalid argument
when run with ltrace, the window stays and it seems to work (you can load
files etc) but there's no sound output. and when closing it, it hangs.
running while the soundcard is busy works too, but of course there's no
sound output then.
bye

The tapiir package has been removed from Debian testing, unstable and
experimental, so I am now closing the bugs that were still opened
against it.
For more information about this package's removal, read
http://bugs.debian.org/352539 . That bug might give the reasons why
this package was removed, and suggestions of possible replacements.
Don't hesitate to reply to this mail if you have any question.
Thank you for your contribution to Debian.
