Package: netmon-applet
Version: 0.4-9
Severity: minor

The GTK_LABEL object that comprises the entire visible UI of netmon
changes size with the number of digits in the data rate all the time,
causing the overall size of my gnome corner panel to change, which in
turn causes enlightenment to think that the window is a pop-up dialog
box. I use the "zoom" feature of enlightenment to watch mythtv, and
whenever a background program accesses the net, enlightenment zooms in on
the gnome-panel because it thinks it should give focus to popup dialogs
when in zoom mode. So I have to get up, and walk to the keyboard to kill
gnome-panel to watch TV. The fix is to use %6.1f, and %6i as the printf
conversion characters in lines 155-165 in "gnome-ui.c". Thanks.

The netmon-applet package has been removed from Debian testing, unstable and
experimental, so I am now closing the bugs that were still opened
against it.

For more information about this package's removal, read
http://bugs.debian.org/335916 . That bug might give the reasons why
this package was removed, and suggestions of possible replacements.

Don't hesitate to reply to this mail if you have any question.

Thank you for your contribution to Debian.
