^C
$ # In straced mode, after displaying first screen, it closes its xwindow without
$ # exiting, what is also weird. At the point I pressed ^C I had no other choice
$ esd &
$ falconseye
(works with sound)

It's confusing. It seems that falconseye need esd. But if it is the case,
why does it try to open all that /dev/* files ?

If library versions are concerned, all software here is 0 day unstable.

Version: 1.9.3-16+rm

The falconseye package has been removed from Debian testing, unstable and
experimental, so I am now closing the bugs that were still opened
against it.

For more information about this package's removal, read
http://bugs.debian.org/320075 . That bug might give the reasons why
this package was removed, and suggestions of possible replacements.

Don't hesitate to reply to this mail if you have any question.

Thank you for your contribution to Debian.
