Package: ilisp
Version: 5.12.0+cvs.2003.09.14
Severity: normal
ilisp changes user's settings on XEmacs (21.4-14). For example,
I run xemacs without any initial configuration file, then,
in the scratch buffer, I eval "(paren-set-mode 'sexp)", now
paren-mode changes to sexp, then, I open /tmp/temp.lisp,
now paren-mode is paren *for all buffers* and also the color
of the paren face changes.
Now, on GNU Emacs (21.3.1) something similar happens (loading
it without any initial conf.). If I open /tmp/temp.txt, and
then /tmp/temp.lisp, now the parens on the temp.txt buffer
are color highlighted (previous to ilisp loading it
werent).
Maybe related, my XEmacs configuration disables the toolbar,
but loading ilisp enables it.
Note, this is latest xemacs, emacs and ilisp from unstable.

The ilisp package has been removed from Debian testing, unstable and
experimental, so I am now closing the bugs that were still opened
against it.
For more information about this package's removal, read
http://bugs.debian.org/284376 . That bug might give the reasons why
this package was removed, and suggestions of possible replacements.
Don't hesitate to reply to this mail if you have any question.
Thank you for your contribution to Debian.
