vipec does not ship with a .desktop file. I'm providing one. I couldn't figure out where vipec
stores its icon so I'm also attaching the icon from the Vipec homepage
(http://vipec.sourceforge.net) which is distributed under the GNU GPL license. If you feel the
name entry is too big, I guess it could be shortened to something like "Vipec Network Analyzer",
which is however misleading. It validates and shows correctly in my menus.
