Bug#415451: xautomation: xte misinterprets '/' as '7'.
Package: xautomation
Version: 0.96-5
Severity: normal
*** Please type your report below this line ***
I can not use xte to send strings containing '/' into the X client being
tested. xte interprets '/' as '7'. In my case this is a showstopper,
since I need to pass URLs to the program.
herman@pc074:~/Devel/Xautomate$ xte
str http://foo.com/
http:77foo.com7
herman@pc074:~/Devel/Xautomate$ xte
key /
