Bug#454882: gnump3d: service not published on the local net
Package: gnump3d
Version: 3.0-2
Severity: wishlist
It would be good if /etc/init.d/gnump3d were to check for the availability
of Avahi and at the very least call
avahi-publish -s 'GnuMP3d music server' '_http._tcp' 8888
or something of that nature, so that other computers on the LAN would
at least be aware of the web site.
