Package: remstats-servers
Version: 1.00a4-8
Severity: normal
When the nfs server from which a file-system is locally mounted crash, the df's commands issued by a locally running unix-status-server hangs.
As result, the number of process in the local computer raise and after sometime, may be days, the local computer crash due to the increasing number of open files.
As a collateral effect, the unix-status-server fails to gather data on open files.
As a solution, the df should invoked with the -local option, in order to check only local file-systems.
