Upstream release has version 0.3.8. Debian libxml-ruby1.8
package is in version 0.3.4. I was going to make new package
by my own but it yields on load:

LoadError: /usr/lib/ruby/1.8/i486-linux/xml/libxml.so: undefined symbol:
Init_libxml

Any help?
