Bug#399319: d4x: "clipboard monitor" feature doesn't work
Package: d4x
Version: 2.5.7.1-4
Severity: important
This feature is supposed to show an "add new download" dialog as soon as I
copy the URL of some files (depending on their "extension") from other
applications, but it doesn't, despite it *is* activated in the settings.
Actually I upgraded from sarge to etch, where I used version 2.4.1 which
worked fine w.r.t. this feature.
Additionally:
1 - If I copy a URL from a terminal (e.g. urxvt), then manually call the
"paste from clipboard" button, it steals and nullify the selection so
that I don't have any more any selection to paste in !
(looks like a race condition with selecting the URL in the dialog)
2 - If I do the same but from firefox, the selection is kept intact though
I still have to call for the add dialog manually.
(I know by experience that firefox is also stealing the selection
sometimes -> here we have a selection war which firefox wins)
