Bug#341397: broken diversion: cursor.pcf.gz-artwiz vs. artwiz-cursor.pcf.gz
# breaks unrelated software, in fact...
severity 341397 critical
thanks
Looking at this bug, the real problem isn't the diversion itself, but that
the artwiz package tries to use this diversion to hide the system "cursor"
font (from xfonts-base) from view. This doesn't work, so instead we end up
with two different fonts named "cursor" listed in fonts.dir, and hilarity
ensues.
Given that this package is orphaned and has no reverse-dependencies, I'm
going ahead and removing it from testing. It's my recommendation that it
also be removed from unstable if no one steps forward that's willing to
adopt it, given that it appears to be in need of some lovin' of an upstream
nature.
