Bug#390312: xawtv: Please make it easy to create a build with debugging symbols

The make install target in the upstream makefiles installs using install
-s. Install -s strips the debugging symbols.
install -s is declared to be used in Makefile.in and in almost all the
Subdir.mk spread all over the different subdirs.
making it easy to rebuild with debugging symbols does make debugging
easier.
