Bug#388604: drupal: purging the package fails (debconf unavailable)
Package: drupal
Version: 4.5.8-2
Severity: serious
Hello Debian QA Group,
There is an error when attempting to purge drupal:
Removing drupal ...
Purging configuration files for drupal ...
/var/lib/dpkg/info/drupal.postrm: line 7: /usr/share/debconf/confmodule: No such file or directory
dpkg: error processing drupal (--purge):
subprocess post-removal script returned error exit status 1
The postrm cannot assume debconf to be available when purging the
package.
See Policy 7.2:
Note, however, that the `postrm' cannot rely on any non-essential packages to
be present during the `purge' phase.
Cheers,
