Bug#360484: Working again

I had somehow lost the main database file. Once regenerated, program could 
once again test and update. Program should protect itself against missing or 
invalid data rather than proceed and segfault out.

I now get the following which I never got before:

after which it works OK.

So close orignal bug and open one about the segfault instead of graceful end 
with corrupt or missing database file.
