Hi,

Thanks for your bug report.  I am intending to adopt the
autoconf-archive package.  Before I can find a sponder, I maintain
unofficial package files at
http://debian.mayhq.org/debian/pool/a/autoconf-archive/ .

The problem you reported is fixed by upstream 2005-05-20.  You can find
the debian package 20050520-1 at the above address.
