Maybe related to #245297

Exactly the same happens installing msttcorefonts .

Installing x-ttcidfont-conf I got this (sorry, I'm spanish so some lines
are in spanish):

Maybe that's what happened. I can't give you more information because 
the Computers Departmente decided to move all boxes to Debian Testing, 
so the configuration is no more the old one.
