Bug#286837: /usr/lib/dosemu/global.conf is different from the builtin global.conf
Package: dosemu
Version: 1.2.1-3
Severity: normal
The file /usr/lib/dosemu/global.conf included in the dosemu package is
supposed to be the same as the builtin so that if the sysadmin wants to
make a change, just the part that needs to be changed is changed.
But if I add the line:
config_script=/usr/lib/dosemu/global.conf
To the file /etc/dosemu/dosemu.users, so that dosemu uses my global.conf
instead of the builtin one, dosemu fails to start, due to an error with
the serial port.
My guess is that the global.conf that is provided is from an old version
and thus it is not the same as the one builtin in dosemu.bin
Hoping you can find a solution to this.
Love,
Margarita Manterola.
