Subject: Shouldn't raidtools be statically linked?
Organization: CNUCE-CNR, Via S.Maria 36, Pisa - Italy +39-050-593211
Package: raidtools
Version: 0.42-17
Severity: wishlist
Wouldn't it be wiser to statically link the raidtools? think about what
happened if they exhibited the problem others program exhibit with the new
libc6-2.1: no hope of mounting the raid devices.

raidtools (version 1) has been removed; this was only needed for
kernel 2.0 or 2.2 or so. raidtools2 works for current kernels.
