Bug#266809: alloc: invalid block

Package: tcl-sql
Version: 20000621-1.2
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

Using commands from tcl-sql gives me:
alloc: invalid block: 0x8050b70: ef ef 0
Aborted

The following code reproduces this error:

package require sql
set con [sql connect "dummy_host" "dummy_user" "dummy_pass"]

The error is raised in ../generic/tclThreadAlloc.c:Ptr2Block.
