Package: hwtools
Version: 0.7-1
Severity: serious

I give up NMUing this package, I simply can't build it ! I'll attach
my work to this bug-report, as quiet.

cc -s -o irqtune irqtune.o kvers.o
/usr/bin/ld: Warning: size of symbol `kernel_version' changed from 1 to 6 in kvers.o
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status

Here is what I've done:

hwtools (0.8-0.1) unstable; urgency=low

  * Non-maintainer upload.
  * Removed many binary files from "orig source" archive.
  * Never uploaded, can't build from source (even without removing
    above-mentionned binaries).

  * Do not provide memtest86 any more, it is a standalone package now,
    suggest it.
  * Added a note about lilo use for memmxtest in README.Debian.
  * "New" upstream release (timestamp is 1997-01-20 !) of qic02conf.
Indeed includes tpqic02-support 1.9b (removed precompiled binaries
from source). There are other programs here that may be useful, but I
have no idea which ones. Please users, use the BTS. Added an entry
    for this in copyright file.
  * Added note in extended description about tools that were moved out of
    this package in the past.

of the darkness. There had been need of rain for many days.
"Only a promise," Lao Er said.
