Subject: taper: taper doesn't calculate totals correctly
To: submit@bugs.debian.org
X-Mailer: bug 3.1.5

Package: taper
Version: 6.8.4-1

Taper has problems calculating the total size of all the files it's going
to process. I am backing up over 3 or 4 GB(don't know for sure) of data
and taper only says that it is going to process 9,292K. I don't know if
this has any effect on the backup quality or not, it sure messes up the
status info during a backup. The point at which the miscalculation
occurs is somewhere above 3GB I think.
