This backup set consists of between 2 and 4 gig of data.  However, it says
it's only 9 meg of data.  It is odd that the status indicator works fine
when the backup set is smaller.  I suspect incorrect usage of too-small
integer variables.

taper was removed from Debian unstable today. Closing it
all its bugs.
