Hello,

if i want to scp to a ssh 1-only host it fails:

| silvestre@skynet:~/public_html/urz$ scp index.de.iso-8859-1.html szabala@ix.urz.uni-heidelberg.de:~/WWW/
| szabala@ix.urz.uni-heidelberg.de's password:
| scp: warning: Executing scp1 compatibility.
| scp: FATAL: Executing ssh1 in compatibility mode failed (Check that scp1 is in your PATH).
| lost connection

However it doesn't fail if I explicitly request version 1 of the
protocol:

| silvestre@skynet:~/public_html/urz$ scp -1 index.de.iso-8859-1.html szabala@ix.urz.uni-heidelberg.de:~/WWW/
| szabala@ix.urz.uni-heidelberg.de's password:
| scp: warning: Executing scp1 compatibility.

Hi!

Ssh2 was removed from the Debian archive this morning. It's
replacement, openssh (ssh package), does not seem to be affected
by this bug; therefore, I'm closing it.

Kind regards,
Bas Zoetekouw.
