Subject: epan: Epan cannot find /usr/lib/epan_pstats
To: submit@bugs.debian.org
X-Mailer: bug 3.1.5

Package: epan
Version: 1.3.1-1

Hi,

  epan searches for /usr/lib/epan_pstats and fails to find it. I suspect
it is a typo in the source since an strace of epan produces:

> stat("/usr/local/lib/epan/epan_pstats", 0xbfffd114) = -1 ENOENT (No such file or directory)

which is correct.

> stat("/opt/epan/lib;/usr/lib/epan/epan_pstats", 0xbfffd114) = -1 ENOENT (No such file or directory)

which is INCORRECT - /usr/lib/epan/epan_pstats is extant and correct. The
problem lies in the ";" which should probably be a ":".

> sigaction(SIGINT, {SIG_IGN}, {SIG_DFL}) = 0
> sigaction(SIGQUIT, {SIG_IGN}, {SIG_DFL}) = 0
> sigprocmask(SIG_BLOCK, [CHLD], [])      = 0
> fork()                                  = 20926
> wait4(20926, sh: epan_pstats: command not found

And here she fails.
