$ locale
LANG=C
LC_CTYPE=de_DE@euro
LC_NUMERIC="C"
LC_TIME="C"
LC_COLLATE="C"
LC_MONETARY="C"
LC_MESSAGES="C"
LC_PAPER="C"
LC_NAME="C"
LC_ADDRESS="C"
LC_TELEPHONE="C"
LC_MEASUREMENT="C"
LC_IDENTIFICATION="C"
LC_ALL=
$ elm
Give "hostname", "hostfullname" and "hostdomain" on RC file: /etc/elm-me+/elm.rc
Elm: Unable to map de_DE@euro locale (LC_CTYPE) to MIME charset
Using default (ISO-8859-15). Check /etc/elm-me+/elm.mimecharsets or
/home/ig25/.elm/mime.charsets
Problem with locale (system character set)! Elm ME+ will behave erratically.
... and then startup (which actually displays the characters correctly).
I'm not sure wether this qualifies as "works" or not.
