No, I'm afraid vchkpw isn't being maintained; you can see the list of
orphaned packages at <URL:http://www.debian.org/devel/wnpp/>, or just
check its Maintainer: field. vchkpw is actually listed as in the process
of being adopted by Sean Preston <sean@crypto.co.za>, but there has been
no word from him recently.
