Package: bookmarker
Version: 2.7.0-2.1
Severity: important

Hi,

The template directory /usr/lib/bookmarker/lib/templates also belongs
below the /etc hierarchy.

It is not unlikely that someone (for example me:-) changes the templates,
and after an upgrade the changes are overridden.

So these files should
a) be listed in debian/conffiles
b) moved into the /etc hierarchy as they are used to configure bookmarker

BTW: My box is running debian woody.

 .
   * New maintainer (adopting orphaned package). Updating maintainer
     field.
   * debian/copyright rewritten (with correct URL) and license included).
   * Package original 'CHANGES' instead of the copy 'changelog'.
   * Suggest mysql-server or postgresql. This closes: bug#141140 as I
disagree that stronger depends is needed (you can easily have your
mysql server running on a separate machine).
   * Preserve file info when packaging (cp -a).
   * Move configfiles into /etc/bookmarker and mark them as conffiles.
     Closes: Bug#138154, Bug#138140.
   * Change Build-Depends -> Build-Depends-Indep and put relevant INSTALL
     snippets in debian/README. Closes: Bug#135968.
