Status of ruff and depending packages

Hello list, hello Jelmer,

packaging and keeping ruff updated is a challenge as we all know.
Currently the version in Debian stuck at 0.0.294 for quite a while, 
upstream is currently at 0.14.8.

There was some effort taken to update ruff and also to update existing 
build dependencies and also to introduce newly needed packages.

Is someone able to give a overview about the current status?
I'm not an experienced Rust packager so I won't be able to help on that 
out in a big way. But maybe some other related things could be 
coordinated and helped out?

Should we create a wiki page for easier tracking of the state?
