Request to Join the Debian Python Team

Hi,

I’m a Debian Maintainer currently most active within the Rust team, and 
I would like to join the Debian Python Team

I would like to help with packaging and maintaining Python software in 
Debian. In particular, I am planning to package the program torf (ITP: 
#1101302), and I am also interested in contributing to the maintenance 
of other team packages, participating in transitions, fixing bugs, and 
generally providing the same kind of ongoing maintenance work that I 
currently perform in the Rust team.
