Both fixed. Sorry.
Is #1085746 already fixed upstream? If not, please file a bug report
or pull request with upstream to get your changes merged.
I  created a PR at https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/ocrfeeder/-/merge_requests/26 and added that to the patch header.
In the meantime, I took a look at the other open bugs, and added
#1112422 and #1084529 to the d/changelog entry for 0.8.5-2, as both
were fixed by your changes but not mentioned there.

You probably want to outright close (via email or the 'bts' util) bug
#1112440, as the dependency in question was already gone in 0.8.5-1.
Same for #1009744 and #1015901, the code in 0.8.5 specifically wants
gtk-3 (grep the sources for 'gi.require_version' to see for yourself).
