Transitioning to python3-pysnmp (from python3-pysnmp4)
Hi,
I'll be uploading python-pysnmp4 to experimental, with the binary
package python3-pysnmp4 renamed as python3-pysnmp, and python3-pysnmp4
becoming a transition package. Indeed, it's currently released as
version 7, having the version number in the binary makes no point.
I see no reason why to change the source package name *at the same
time*, though this can be done later on.
Later, I'll upload to Unstable (checking for autopkgtest before doing
so) and file bugs against reverse dependencies so they migrate to the
new name.
If anyone is opposing to this, please let me know.
Cheers,
Thomas Goirand (zigo)
