Hi everyone! I would like to join the Python Team, as I have a couple Python software I would like to maintain in Debian. My account name on Salsa is "vv221". The first software is already in NEW, cf. https://bugs.debian.org/1004845 — ITP: tremc -- Curses interface for transmission The packaging repository can be found at: https://salsa.debian.org/vv221/tremc and a lightweight mirror at: https://git.vv221.fr/debian/tremc Sadly I did not read all the things in the correct order, and this one is not following your packaging recommendations. This is going to be an exception, my future Python packages are going to stick to the team recommendations. If you think this is problematic, I can rework the git repository while still ensuring it produces the exact same package. I work with git a lot so this would not be too much of a complex task. The next package I plan to introduce is ffmpeg-normalize, a Python script wrapping ffmpeg, used to normalise the audio volume of media files. In order to package it, I would need to introduce a missing dependency first: ffmpeg-progress-yield. - https://github.com/slhck/ffmpeg-normalize - https://github.com/slhck/ffmpeg-progress-yield
