Hi,

I ve my own take on this: I would MBF the (expected few) remaining users of /usr/share/cdbs/1/class/gnome.mk

and then get rid of this one cdbs module.

I did similar analysis for the python3-distutils.mk (not sure about the name) using Debian Code Search and there were only 3 users left.
