I believe that a small number of Python module doc packages use

https://pypi.python.org/pypi/sphobjinv is not in Debian, is it?
How would I create e.g. https://docs.python.org/objects.inv
from which sources?

In the case of Python's documentation inventory specifically, this is built and distributed in the python*-doc packages, and there should be no need to download it from python.org.
