"search.html doesn't look like a Sphinx search page"

Hello,

I'm trying to adopt dh_sphinxdoc, but it dies with the following error:

dh_sphinxdoc:
debian/python-sqlkit-doc/usr/share/doc/python-sqlkit-doc/html/search.html doesn't look like a Sphinx search page

The page is available at

It _is_, I guess, heavily customized... but I didn't think this was a
problem. So I'd appreciate any advice: should I
1) submitting a bug for dh_sphinxdoc,
2) patching the page/asking some modifications upstream, or just
3) keep on living without dh_sphinxdoc?
