first you got to upload to experimental (since a beta it's not the
best version to have in unstable at this stage of the release), and
the policy for backports is to take packages from testing (and this
version won't be there until squeeze is out) but maybe this rules are
a bit relaxed in the -sloppy suite.
Anyhow, the last questions is better suited for debian-mentors or
debian-backports-users
