I'm not familiar with how to re-assign debian bugs. I had a bit of a
look at the server-control docs and think I could do it, but might
cock it up. Feel free to re-assign that bug against python yourself...
it affects all versions (urllib is part of Python itself). Note that
it has already been forwarded upstream too. There is an upstream
bugreport and patch against python2.3 at;

If you want me to learn how to manipulate bugs properly, not just
