micronews or blog post? ( Re: The Debian project stands behind GNOME Foundation against this attack on free...

Hello Chris

Thanks for taking the initiative about this topic, very appreciated.

I think it's better to publish a blog post, even if very short, than a micronews.

This is because 2 reasons:

1. The 'title' of the micronews looks like the title of a statement/announcement, and then we link to GNOME news: some people may think that blog post is a joint work of Debian+GNOME which is not the case.

2. A micronews is harder to reference later. We could add a paragraph about the topic in the next DPN but it's unclear when will be published.

I can put up a draft blog post but not before tomorrow, probably. I know it's better to keep it as brief as possible for the same reasons the GNOME community don't detail much.

In other hand, I'm happy to hear other voices if people think a micronews is better. Maybe adding some words "Learn about the case in [link]" or something like that solves the issue I saw in (1).

Cheers
