Hi folks, begin quotation from Daniel Pocock (in <5162D817.5060807@pocock.com.au>): > I notice the events page is quite sparse: > > http://www.debian.org/events/ > > I've put a link to it on my blog for GSoC applicants, suggesting that it > is a good idea for them to look for any events where they can meet local > Debian people > > Could you consider updating the page to include DebConf13 dates and > maybe put out a call to the community to supply details of more events? As far as I can see nobody (including me) is willing to update the evnts page. This situation does not feel good as numbers of unanswered reauests pile up. I propose the following options: - Someone steps up to do this. - We replace the events page with a link to a wiki page (I would be willing to set up and sporadically maintain the wiki page). - We drop the events page. Alternative options are of course welcome. An unupdated events page does more harm than good. cu AW -- [...] If you don't want to be restricted, don't agree to it. If you are coerced, comply as much as you must to protect yourself, just don't support it. Noone can free you but yourself. (crag, on Debian Planet) Arne Wichmann (aw@linux.de)
