Eh, thanks for this quote of mine :-)
(I write this as a  tongue-in-cheek joke, but I really appreciate.)

However, I'd rather drop the second part about universality and replace
it with something along the lines of: 1/ running a project like Debian
needs a wide range of skills, not only technical; 2/ community diversity
goes hand in hand with community richness.

I'm on a hurry ATM (busy week, traveling for non-Debian work) and can't
distill it myself in a nice-looking quote right now, but feel free to do
so directly.  Thanks!
