The question is subtle and not seeing an agreement yet.
The differences from american english X british english must be studied.
1- The official language for PRs is UK british english.
2- The Debian Project is governed by colective, despite being "one single"
entity,
with one legal registry at SPI.
So, what is the agreement to use at PRs?
Please, give some contextual examples supporting your vote, too.
It *seems* that majority of situations should use "it", and a few contexts
would require "they".
I am not a native english speaker....
