ask for help

Dear Debian Project Team and Community,

My name is Abdellah Agtaib, and I am 16 years old from Morocco. I am writing to you today with great admiration for what you are accomplishing and with a humble request for guidance.

I am the initiator of a personal project called UjaroOS. It is a Linux distribution that I am developing on the solid base of Debian. My dream is to create a simple, efficient, and user-friendly operating system specifically for use in schools. My goal is to help maintain and support the older hardware that the majority of schools are currently using by utilizing the lightweight Sway tiling window manager, and preinstalling it with required educational software so it is easy for teachers and students to use.

As a beginner developer who is yet to learn, I have great admiration for Debian's philosophy and work quality. While UjaroOS is a small, independent project, I would want to ensure that I am following the best practices, especially in the use of the Debian name and trademarks.

Thanks for your time and efforts in developing the universal operating system upon which projects such as mine are possible. Debian project work is something that inspires me, and I hope that UjaroOS someday can be used to help bring the promise of Free Software to more students in my area and others.

Best regards,

Abdellah Agtaib
UjaroOS Project Developer
