Sorry, I forgot one suggestion:

 - I think that it would be totally fair if the TC, based on its task list and
   based on the urgency of the questions that are raised, would sometimes
   decide upfront to leave one case untouched for some weeks or even a copuple of
   months, to avoid dispersing its attention on too many problems.  As long as the
   decision is not re-postponed, I think that it can be in everybody's best interest.

I hope that my comments will not be taken as a lecture on how being better
efficient.  The message is rather that if you already thought about following
that kind of way, don't worry and go for it !
