I gateway a large number of Debian lists[1] on my personal colo (which
also runs a general text newsfeed and which provides service to my own
users and also anyone with a University of Cambridge IP address).

I would be happy to grant access to Debian Developers and longstanding
contributors, but I would need a static IP address or stable domain
name.

I asked DSA whether it would be a good idea to grant access to every
Debian system but they told me that a user using a Debian machine to
read usenet would probably be in breach of the DMUP. I guess that
wouldn't apply to reading chiark.mail.debian.*.

I'm tempted to grant access to every machine in *.debian.net. Would
that be unwise ?

Ian.

[1] Not all of them, but I add new ones on request.
