Nonetheless, we are always - as recently repeated by Lucas - looking for
more volunteers, so if you do have a bit of sparetime, don't run away
crying when seeing licenses, can deal with the rest of the team and want
to help - mail ftpmaster@debian.org and tell us. We may take you in as
trainee.
I suppose this implies that the ability to invest "at least 5 til 10 hours per week into this role, basically forever" is no longer necessary? If so, it would be great to list the remaining requirements (perhaps precising what "dealing with the rest of the team" requires).
FTP trainees are not requested currently. I understand from this that package processing should be [re]listed.
