It’s a trust question. If something differs, people wonder why.
If something broke in the past, people are more wary.
The answer showed that there’s nothing to worry except for the
maintainer address merge failure, though (this is why I asked,
it could have been worse).

That would look different: no Original-Maintainer field, and
a non-bouncing address too. This *really* looked like a fsckup
to me, which is why I took it on me to actually ask (rather than
wonder) about it.
