Yes, and I'm very unhappy with you for that.  You committed that change to
the DEP repository without consulting the driver of the DEP in question.

This is not a finalized DEP and I have not agreed to have it developed in
the debian-policy package using the policy process.

It's fine that the Policy maintainers approve of that workflow; they are not
the DEP drivers and it's not their decision.  Nor is it yours.

Because this is not part of policy and it's not ready to be part of policy,
nor is it ready for us to use the policy process on it; therefore there is
no reason to involve the policy delegates.
