Hi Gregor,

in general, the bugs needing seconde are the ones tagged patch and not tagged
seconded or pending. Currently, it is:

http://bugs.debian.org/640737 [n|+| ] [debian-policy] [copyright-format] Point Format URL to www.debian.org.

I think that I have been too shy tagging ‘patch’ some of the bugs, as it
implies that the discussion converged on a consensus. My problem is that in
some cases, there is no dicussion at all…

For the two following bugs, I think that it will help a lot if some people
could just confirm that they want the changes to happen. Some of the bugs were
opened at a stage where the consensus was that changes should be kept to a very
strict minimum.

http://bugs.debian.org/641071 [m| | ] [debian-policy] [copyright-format] correct or add links to SPDX

http://bugs.debian.org/646119 [w| | ] [debian-policy] debian-policy: [copyright-format] Publish version version 1.0 (DEP 5).

And of course, while it may be to early to formally second the proposed changes
in the following bug about proofreading, some participation would be welcome,
to either confirm or reject the idea of making such wording changes, again
because the idea was quite controversial in the past.

http://bugs.debian.org/648387 [w| | ] [debian-policy] [copyright-format] English proofreading.

In conclusion, I think that the DEP 5 will have better chances to be finished
if the participation increases, because otherwise it is difficult to know if
the silence is one of satisfaction or one of disagreement and demotivation.

Have a nice Sunday,
