One of the reasons a shortened AM report, with bio, is posted to d-newmaint is to serve as a bit of an introduction (other reasons are to allow people to say "yeah" or "oh noes!!". Of course that happens at AM approval time, not at account creation time, so I understand if that isn't enough. But it'd be sort of nice to merge the two things.
