please explain this violence

Dear Debian Developers,

when I review all mails on this list about the topic
"ideas regarding a conflict management strategy" and
"please learn to understand yourself and other people"
I completely fail to get, why Steve Langasek and some
other people carry on with their violent attitude
towards others.

Please explain how this violence is justified.

The person was helping 2 women in a polite manner.
The person was chatting like other people.

The only reason I can see for the violent behaviour
of vorlon and helix is pure dislike of a random opinion.

Somebody could have asked the person in private to tune
it down on that chat room or even ask him to leave.
Instead vorlon and helix chose violent communication.

Please explain why the community tolerates that.
